Hi,
I have a suite of tests that contain around 400 steps. They have been running and passing for months. I just upgraded to cucumber 1.1.5 and now just about all of my steps get skipped! My scenarios begin with logging in a user - that works, but after that everything gets skipped. I have no idea why this is happening; the console output and log file aren't telling me anything (at least that I can discern). (BTW, I ran the tests with the --backtrace option, but that didn't produce any extra output from running them without it.)
I searched around for an answer, but did not find one. But I see that this upgrade just took place about a dozen hours ago, so maybe that's the reason.
My version of rails is 3.2.1 and cucumber-rails is 1.2.1. When I freeze to the old version of cucumber (i.e. add "gem cucumber, 1.1.4" to my Gemfile) all tests pass.
Works Fine: cucumber 1.1.4 , gherkin 2.7.7
Steps Skipped: cucumber 1.1.5 , gherkin 2.8.0
Can someone help me figure out what is going on?
Thanks,
Larry
