Wireless LightRadio Application Software Engineer

Location: Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing

Job Description:

Responsible for the design, development, maintenance, integration and test, as well as other important product delivery related activities, in the areas such as embedded software, real time software, wireless communication protocols application level software, software tools, testing software etc. The above areas are the requirements of the inherent key R&D of our broadband wireless access network product, which providing services to wireless customers around the world.

Position Qualification:

1.Fundamental pre-requisites:

-healthy and positive attitude; Independent, innovative; Communicating well; excellent team working;

-Passionate in taking responsibility & quick learning

-Passionate and realistic on telecom technology and software development; Motivated complex and challenging software product "builder" aiming for broadband wireless R&D/Product delivery missions.

-Grasp of wireless communication software development and test etc methodologies

2.Education: colleague degree or above; Major: communication, computer science, software engineering, electric engineering etc;

3.Related Experience:

-Rich software development and test experience; working experience in wireless communication domain; Familiar with embedded software and real time applications development;

-Sound Wireless communication system knowledge (e.g. LTE, GSM, WCDMA, TDSCDMA, WiMax)

4.  Software Skill:

-Understand software development methodology, such as Agile, OOD, UML; Master programming language like C/C++;

-Familiar with Linux/Unix environments, such as shell scripting, shell commands; Very fluent in using Clearcase or Git or other software configuration tool.

-Good understanding of software development process and software product life cycle.

5.Language Skill: Good command of English and Mandarin (Listen, Speak, Read, Write)

Location: Shanghai

FPGA Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer  

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for FPGA design, development and verification in Wireless baseband system.

-Take charge of project analysis and FPGA chip select.

-Verification and test on board.

-Support and solve problems in system test. 

Requirements:

-Good knowledge of Wireless Communication systems.

-Experience on baseband protocol and algorithm is a plus.

-Excellent knowledge of digital circuit, logical design and timing analysis.

-2+ years with VHDL/Verilog programming in FPGA.

-Familiar with Modelsim, ISE and others necessary EDA tools.

-Familiar with tcl / perl, familiar with Linux.

-Language ability: English, good, both written and oral.

 

DSP Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer  

Job description :

-Responsible for the DSP design, simulation and maintenance in Wireless system.

-Carry out the assigned tasks and report progress to project manager.

-Take charge of project analysis and DSP chip select.

-Coding, verification, and test on board.

-Solve troubles in product development.

Requirement:

-Good knowledge of Wireless Communication systems and good understanding of telecom industry.

-2+ working years for Freescale DSP (8156, 8157 prefer), or TI DSP C64x.

-2+ working years for DSP drivers (SRIO etc).

-Wireless link level simulation knowledge with Matlab or C language is a plus.

-Education background: Bachelor or above. Major in electronic engineering, telecommunication, computer science, or related

-Good interpersonal skills, communication, team work.

-Language ability: English, good, both written and oral, CET-6.

-Other requirements: Capability to adapt rapidly in a challenging job environment; team work capabilities

 

 

 

CPU/L2 Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer  

Job Description:

-Responsible for the Real time CPU software design, simulation and maintenance in Wireless system.

-Carry out the assigned tasks and report progress to project manager.

-Coding, verification, and test on board.

-If demanded, participate in modem integration and system integration.

-Solve troubles in product development, lab test and field test.

Candidate Requirement:

- Education background: Master

-Major in: Telecommunication, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related

-Strong Linux/Unix or Vxworks, C/C++ programming experiences.

-following background will be a plus: GSM, WCDMA, WiMax, LTE or OFDM product development experience, with strong Scheduler knowledge, and Radio Resource Management (MAC/RLC) algorithm development & validation experience

-Following background will be a plus: Experience in L1 layer or device driver / BSP programming is preferred, and experience in kernel debugging of real time OS is preferred.

-Language ability: English, good command of both written and oral

Wireless LightRadio System\Intergration Test Engineer

Job description

The key responsibilities of this role will be:

-LightRadio system/sub-system/modem level verification to make sure the delivery quality in line with global strategy and quality target of wireless product.

-Write test specification including test plan, test cases, test report.

-Execute test case, analyze test result, co-operate with developer on the bug fix, report test result on schedule.

-Follow Quality Process: find, characterize, track and verify defects. Provide detail log to design team if needed.

Candidate Requirements

-Education background: Bachelor or above

-Major in: telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science, software engineering or related

-2 years upper integration test experiences on GSM, WCDMA/TD-SCDMA, WiMax, LTE etc related access network or core network products.

-Knowledge of wireless system architecture or protocols and technical trouble shooting with development experience is preferred.

-Knowledge on Linux OS, TCP/IP, SCTP, TIPC, DHCP/NTP and other network protocols is preferred. Automatic test script writing experience is preferred.

-Language ability: English, good, both written and oral.

-Other requirements: Good communication skills and teamwork ability.

 

 

LTE System Architect Engineer

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for the algorithm design, link-level or system level simulation, performance evaluation and improvements

-Research of 3GPP LTE and beyond technology, and assistance of product definition

-Analyze the LTE features and provide performance evaluation, algorithm specification and product solutions for each product release

-Lead the whole process from requirements down to mass production for the competitive eNB Base-band products

-Contribute to hardware/software architecture design, functional mapping, system specification and interface design

 Requirements:

-Education background: Master or above, major in electronic engineering, telecommunication, computer science, or related.

-6+ years working experience, 4+ years Algorithm design and simulation experience, 4+ years on Node-B or eNodeB SW design

-Rich experience on base-band algorithm design, link level or system-level simulation, performance analysis; Experience on DSP/FPGA development for algorithm implementation will be plus.

-Rich knowledge and experience on 3G NodeB or LTE eNodeB or WiMAX product.

-Be familiar with the theory and practice of design for high reliability, design for competitive (trade of cost and performance), and design for compliance

-Master C/C++/Matlab programming

-Language ability: English, good, both written and oral

-Other requirements: Good communication skills and teamwork ability

 

LTE Senior Architecture Engineer

Job Description:

-Responsible for LTE/LTE-A feature design, performance improvement & capacity related tasks.

-Working with Product Line Manager and Product Owner for feature impact analysis and cost estimation.

-Take charge of LTE/LTE-A L1/L2/L3 system design in DSP and CPU.

-Supporting design teams for critical project issues investigation

-Working with system design team & development team for Interface, Specification & Algorithm review.

-Communicate with overseas architecture team for system architecture, technical topic & design strategy.

Candidate Requirement:

-Good knowledge of Wireless Communication systems.

-5+ years development and debug experience in DSP and/or CPU and/or FPGA. 3+ years feature design experience of Wireless Communication systems

-At least 2 years experience for system design or base-band/scheduling algorithm.

-Passionate on technical tasks, innovative, open-minded, as well as good teamwork and the capability against high pressure.

-Good system level view

-Excellent communication skills in English.

LightRadio System Model Design Engineer

Job Description:

-In charge of Golden Model development and maintenance.

-Implement wireless baseband protocol and algorithm in C++.

-Locate problems in FPGA and DSP verification.

-Locate problems in system test.

Candidate Requirement:

-Good knowledge of Wireless Communication systems.

-Experience on baseband protocol and algorithm is a plus.

-3 year+ experience on C++ development.

-Familiar with bash shell, familiar with Matlab / java is a plus.

-Familiar with Linux system.

-Good English communication skill

RF Senior RF Algorithm / DSP / FPGA Engineer

Extend working experience to not only RF, but also baseband.

Job Description:

As Senior DSP/FPGA Engineer, the successful candidate will be a key member for wireless telecommunication system algorithm sub-system design team whose responsibility is to be engaged in advanced studies or define the competitive RF HARDWARE products for 2G(GSM/CDMA), 3G(WCDMA) and 4G(LTE) wireless access network.

In detail, the capable candidates will join the effort to clarify the RF product requirements, providing insights to DIF algorithm design and future trends with excellent idea. Be capable of leading the DIF algorithm research and development to meet the requirement of the competitive RF HARDWARE products.

Candidates Requirements:

1.R&D PASS CLASS 3+

2.Education background: master or above.

3.Major in: telecommunication, computer science, or related

4.4+ years Wireless algorithm/DSP/FPGA development experience, familiar with digital IF algorithm is Plus.

5.Strong DSP/FPGA development experience. Proven track record and good skills in C language or Verilog, DSP programming and Matlab.

6.Strong basic knowledge on communication theory, signal processing, WCDMA/GSM/LTE.

7.Meet following fields is preferred:

a)Familiar with signal processing and algorithm design and simulation tools, such as MATLAB

b)Familiar with DIF algorithm design, such as DUC/DDC/CFR/DPD

c)Familiar with GSM system baseband or RF algorithm development

8.Ability to work efficiently in a design team, also interfacing to other technology areas

9.Language ability: English fluent in both written and oral

10.Other requirements: Capability to adapt rapidly in a challenging job environment; team work capabilities

Position:RF PA Senior Engineer

Job Description:

To be responsible for the design of RF hardware in Alcatel Lucent’s Remote Radio Head base station products which implement the LTE and UMTS air interface standards. To liaise with internal technology groups and external groups including Systems Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Engineering, to ensure a cost effective design to be produced.

1.Design / develop / debug radio transmission board and up to 100W average power amplifier, including evaluation appropriate components

2.Define PCB layout rules and review work of PCB designers on an ongoing basis

3.Develop hardware specifications together with system team

4.Cooperate closely with algorithm, software design, test and manufacturing team

5.Responsible for sustaining developed product if necessary, such as second source qualification, solving manufacturing and customer issue 

6.Board level circuit debug, functional test and performance assessment with relevant optimization

7.Propose & develop advanced power amplifier technology & circuits for the future wireless communications

Candidates Requirements:

R&D PASS CLASS 3 and above

1.MS or above in EE, telecommunication or related areas, 5+ years of direct working experience in RF power amplifier(>10W) design for base stations or microwave radios.

2.Bench experience of power amplifier characterization with various modulation signals is required

3.Direct experience in linearization scheme and high efficiency approach such as digital Pre-distortion and Doherty is required.

4.Familiar with the craft process of power amplifier manufacture, good experience in power amplifier mass production is required.

5.Being familiar with the RF subsystem in wireless telecommunication is desired.

6.Skilled experience in using any popular RF instruments, the experience of using automation test SW tools such as Labview is a big benefit

7.Highly knowledgeable on modeling techniques for non-linear systems, skilled experience in using RF design EDA software such as ADS, Microwave office etc. Experience of EM simulation on cavity and passive circuits is a plus

8.Good RF layout design skills, familiar with popular layout tools, the mentor Expedition is preferred

9.GaN and GaAs HBT based power amplifier experience is a plus

10.Ultra-wideband and High efficiency power amplifier experience is a plus.

11.Knowledge of EMC/EMI design and good understanding of digital electronics are preferred

12.Language ability: English, good, both written and oral

13.Have a pro-active attitude, open minded, willing to collect and share information to solve problems, and able to provide support and guidance to young engineer as a mentor.
