CyanogenMod 11.0 M9 发布，此版本标志着首次发布 Xperia Z2 ‘sirius’， Xperia Z2 Tablets ‘castor’ 和 HTC One ‘m8′ ，维护者将会每月都进行更新。

CyanogenMod（发音：/sa?.&＃39;?n.o?.d??n.m?d/）是一个基于Android系统，供某些手机使用的固件。它提供一些在 官方Android系统或手机厂商没有提供的功能，像是：支持 FLAC 音频格式、程序可从SD外置存储器运行、高速缓存压缩（Compcache）、大量的APN名单、重新启动功能、Wi-Fi无线网络支持、蓝牙及USB网 络分享……等。CyanogenMod 也是第一个使用 BFS 作工作管理的操作系统。
